These pages of memoirs were found in E.V. Sobotovich’s archive after his death. Every word, every episode immerse us in the atmosphere of the first alarming days and months after the unprecedented Chornobyl catastrophe, when it was necessary to solve urgent non-standard tasks, take crucial decisions. Reading the text, these pages evoke the sound of live voice of Emlen Sobotovich – so directly and sincerely his impressions on those events are conveyed.
