WHAT IS RADIOCHEMISTRY

Abstract

To publish the materials of this lecture by I.E.Starik, famous scientist radiochemist from Radium Institute (RF) who established his research school which became the alma-mater for many soviet scientists, were in plans of E.V.Sobotovich but he did not manage to do it before his death. The manuscript preserves the spirit of those times when this field of science was just dawning – yellowed sheets of paper with typewritten letters. We wanted these pages to be given to public in the form in which they had been stored in the archives of Emlen Vladimirovich Sobotovich who always valued everything related to his teacher and friend. Radiochemistry became for E.V.Sobotovich the main research field of his life.
